True “experience” of the Islands

The Aquarius offers the perfect experience of the Tremiti Islands and the chance to relax and enjoy the sea around these splendid isles in total safety, even for small children and the elderly. The Aquarius is not only equipped with a splendid solarium but also boasts a large shaded area with tables.

During the trip the crew will illustrate and narrate the stories connected to the inlets and cliffs and the legends about the Island of San Nicola. The boat will slow down to allow you to gaze through the transparent bottom and admire the expanses of Mediterranean sea grass, a sunken steamer or galleon, and the inlets of S. Nicola.

It will stop in all safety above the statue of Padre Pio, which is invariably surrounded by myriads of fish.

The trip includes two stops for a swim in the island’s crystal clear waters. These are usually in an inlet of S. Domino and at Capraia or a sheltered part of S. Nicola, though it is the captain who makes the decision depending on weather and sea conditions. If you’re lucky, one of the crew might fish for sea urchins and limpets and open them before your very eyes for you to taste!

Aquarius has a bar and small kitchen. It is possible, on request, to organize meals on board or book the boat for a private event.
